Gig Updates and DEMOS

Okay benchpeople, we have a new gig on the 13th of August at the Guitar Merchant in Canoga Park. We go on at 8:25 and play for half an hour, more details to come. Also, there is no word from the coordinator of our event on the 8th, so it is probably canceled. I'll post it to the gigs page so you know. Our battle of the bands on the 29th did not go over as well as we hoped, got a good turnout by Ryan's guitar rig gave him problems and it took a good portion of our absurdly short set to get it fixed. Hopefully we proceed, but it is not looking likely.
Lastly, the official demo cds are now in our possession, so if you want one, contact a Benchmen and get it! Who knows it could become worth good money when we get super famous ;D.

New Gigs Added

Two new gigs have been added to our schedule, one for the 29th of July, the other for the 8th of August. Check them out on the gigs to get more info. In addition, we will be getting fully completed demo cd's soon, complete with jewel case and booklet!!! It almost feels like an album...maybe an LP? You can always listen to the whole thing on the audio page, and download it for free too!

First I just want to mention that the demo is available to listen to on the "audio" page, I suggest giving it a listen. We will be playing all six songs along with two new ones at a concert/party at the UCLA AEPI house July 4th. No info on what time it will be yet, I'll post it as soon as I know. Word is other bands will be playing as well, so come by and groove to some music.
Benchmen Reunion and Demo

The band is officially back together and ready to start rocking this summer. We recently finished our demo, which includes six original songs: "I'm the One", "Solarquest", "Girl Of My Dreams", "Acid Rain", "Power Of The Gray", and "Political Ends"; all of which should be available under "audio" in the near future. In addition, we are working on a new setlist that will include these songs and two others: "Better Days" and "Painting Constellations", as well as some of our covers. Hopefully we will be able to play this set for lots and lots of shows this summer, check the "gigs" page to stay updated on them.

Hey guys, welcome to the Benchmen band website. This is where all of the up to the minute news about the Benchmen will be posted. The music blog is where members of the band will post insight into the music industry and music in general, mainly to help popularize the website. Listen to our music on the audio and video pages, look up our gigs on the gigs page, and learn some history about the band on the bio page.
